Our client, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm that specializes in Class-A retail shopping centers, is seeking a Leasing Associate to support their retail portfolio. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a background in commercial leasing who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and driving value through tenant retention.

Position Overview:
The Leasing Associate will be responsible for managing lease renewals, maintaining tenant relationships, and supporting leasing operations across a portfolio of retail shopping centers. You’ll collaborate closely with a Leasing Director and gain exposure to a high-performing, tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle lease renewals and follow-up communication with retail tenants

• Track lease expirations and maintain accurate lease records

• Prepare leasing reports and support negotiations as needed

• Maintain strong working relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders

• Assist in marketing and showing available retail spaces

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing (retail preferred)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency with lease documents and basic real estate terminology

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Self-starter with a collaborative, professional attitude
